Product Overview
BAC series switch - type battery chargers adopt the latest switching power supply technology. Designed based on the charging characteristics of lead - acid batteries for starting generators, BAC chargers are suitable for long - term supplementary charging (floating charging) of lead - acid batteries. The maximum charging current is 6 amperes for 12 volts and 10 amperes for 24 volts.

Automatic charge using the 2-stage charging method(i.e., constant current first and then constant voltage). The process is in full accordance with the battery charging characteristics, and can prevent overcharging of lead-acid battery and maximize battery life.
 
Have protection functions for short-circuit and reverse connection.
 
Charging voltage and current can be regulated by potentiometer on site.
 
LED display: Power indication and charging indication.

Configuration
Voltage regulation
When regulating voltage on site, it is needed to disconnect the battery from the charger. Measure the charger output voltage while regulating the voltage potentiometer (VOLT)  until the appropriate value is reached.
 
Current regulation
Connect the output to the battery. Measure the charging current when the charging voltage is not higher than 25.0V (12.5V). Regulate the current potentiometer (AMP) to set the appropriate charging current.
The output current can also be estimated according to the current potentiometer scale.

Charging Principle
BAC chargers employ a two-stage intelligent charging protocol that aligns with battery charging characteristics:
1. Constant Current (CC) Phase: Delivers a fixed current when battery voltage is below the threshold.
2. Constant Voltage (CV) Phase: Once voltage reaches the threshold, current gradually decreases until it drops to the cutoff value (0.3A, or 0.5A for 24V 5A models), triggering a transition to float charging. Voltage slowly stabilizes at the set value, and the LED indicator turns off, signaling near-full charge.
3. Float Maintenance: A minimal trickle current compensates for self-discharge without overcharging, preserving battery capacity and lifespan
